This fabulous Japanese concept is offered to anyone interested in decorating their home with purely Japanese-style rooms, incorporating traditional elements such as kakemono, tokonoma, shoji panels, a kotatsu, zabuton cushions and the futon, among other features.
Another characteristic of this type of room, and perhaps the best known, is the tatami flooring. The original tatami mats are made from packed rice straw, and in most places this tradition still remains. In this case, small-format tatami mats have been chosen, allowing all spaces to be used for storage as well.
The room is designed and created to be multifunctional, where the space transforms into a tea room, dining room, and also a bedroom. In the purest ryokan style.
